Ray is a multi-disciplinary designer, versatile and experienced in a dazzling array of products, from house appliances, industrial electronic, medical equipment, exhibition booth design to fashion and jewellery. After working for renowned international design agencies such as Fuseproject and Pilotfish, Ray founded studio Singular Concept in 2014. Based in Taipei, Ray specialises in transforming manufacturing processes into forward thinking solutions, and is motivated to create environmentally-friendly designs that bring values and inspiration to life.

Ming Hong is an Assistant Professor of Chung Hua University at the Department of Industrial (CHUID), where he established Anaturelife in 2014. His works focus on discussing the connection between human sense and mature phenomenon, presenting the idea through interactive installation and illumination design.

Anaturelife lab conducts implementation-oriented projects,teaching and research which include interaction design, repurpose design, bionic design, and future innovative idea development.

Yukihiro Yamaguchi graduated from the Industrial Design Department of Tokyo Zokei University in 2007 and furthered his studies in Italy. His work involved office furniture development at a Japanese furniture company – Plus Co., Ltd.  He returned to Japan in 2014 and launched a design firm Studio-Y2. In recent years, he has worked on product development with an emphasis on CMF design. His works have been widely recognised in major awards, including IFDA International Furniture Design Competition in 2011 and the A’Design Award & Competition in 2015.  He has wide and varied exhibition experiences worldwide, including the Salone Satellite in Milan.

Asako is a designer/architect who graduated from FA Interior Architecture & Furniture Design Course at Konstfact in 2007.  Being part of the creative team with Pivoto, she is also a part-time lecturer at Kyoto University of Art and Design in Osaka Seikei University.  Asako has vast exhibition experiences such as D-Space @ IFFS 2013, Greenhouse Stockholm Furniture Fair 2014, IFFS 2015, Salone Satellite 2016, Meet My Project 2016, JID Award NEXTAGE Prize 2016, IFFS 2017, Salone Satellite 2017/Salone Satellite 20 Years of New Creativity, JID Award NEXTAGE Prize 2017 and Salone Satellite 2018.

Aya is a designer and artist from Tokyo, Japan, based in New York City and sometimes, Europe.

Her work was featured by Vogue Magazine UK, Maison&Objet Paris, New York Times, IDEAT, TL mag, Domus, AIGA Eyes on Design, Adobe creative jams and more. She was being selected as one of four new designers in Salone del mobile Satelite Milan Design Week 2017 by Luxos Magazine.

Her work was a finalist for addition to the permanent collection of the Cranbrook Art Museum and the Stedelijk Museum. She was also the winner of “Best new talent designer 2016” at the DMY Berlin International Design Festival, and Silver medal at A’Design Award 2017.  You can find her projects in several countries such as Tokyo (Japan), Eindhoven (Netherlands), Berlin (Germany), Paris (France), Milan (Italy), Oslo (Norway), Sweden, and New York City, Boston, Chicago in USA.

Her past/current clients include Intel, Dutch inverturals, Alfalfa studio NYC, IKEA, Levi’s stadium, They Might Be Giants, and Tunica Magazine etc.

Huy H. Nguyen is a Saigon-based furniture designer. He focuses on the design and development of furniture, as well as product, lighting and interior design projects. Influenced by a passion for the material and processes, he is committed to delivering to an appropriate and functional solution with a simple and direct design language.

Huy has a BA in interior design and he gained his furniture design skills when he worked at District Eight, with outcomes ranging from a prize-winning expandable table to the best-selling Item – S003. Recently, he has moved to Curator9102,  a new design firm which creates a product line truly Made-in-Vietnam that meets the world’s expectations through a combination of quality, functionality and aesthetics.
